This Acceptable Use Policy outlines the rules and guidelines for using Hallway ("the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to comply with this policy.

Prohibited Content

You may not use the Service to host, share, or promote:

  • Content that is illegal in any applicable jurisdiction
  • Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Malware, phishing attempts, or other malicious software
  • Spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or deceptive content
  • Content that promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination
  • Sexually explicit or exploitative content
  • Content that violates the privacy of others

Prohibited Behavior

You may not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data without permission
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or bans
  • Impersonate other users, organizations, or events
  • Use the Service to conduct fraudulent activities
  • Sell or transfer your account to another party

Event and Speaker Data

When using the Service for event management:

  • Only collect data from speakers and attendees that is necessary for your event
  • Do not share speaker or attendee data with third parties without consent
  • Do not use collected data for purposes unrelated to the event
  • Respect speaker preferences regarding public visibility of their information

Enforcement

We reserve the right to:

  • Remove content that violates this policy
  • Suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy
  • Report illegal activities to appropriate authorities
  • Cooperate with law enforcement investigations

Violations may result in immediate account suspension without prior notice for serious offenses.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
